Growing

It's been wonderful watching all the plants growing and blooming. To keep busy while waiting for my own little bean to grow, we've done way more planting than we ever get done this early. The tomato's & lettuce seeds are planted. The children are anxiously waiting for them to sprout. We planted lots of spring flowers and have even seen a few come back from last year!

The pink blooms on the photo are from a tree in our backyard. My husband and I planted it the first summer we bought our house. It's really cool to watch it grow and realize how much we have grown. We've grown older, sometimes wiser, watched our family double, gained new friends, and shared a lot in the few years since we planted the little tree. I do mean little too, she was kinda sad looking for the first 2 years. We had no idea what we were doing and just walked into the garden center and picked a "cheap" one. When I look at the pretty blooms, I can't help but feel nostalgic abmy husband and the direction our lives has gone. Soon baby #4 will be welcomed into the home and someday play under this very tree with smiling, giggling siblings.

Beautiful day!

It's a beautiful day! Stop, smell the flowers and smile! Lots happening here this week.

We are getting ready for the show this weekend, rearranging furniture at the house[yes, again], I'm working on some new curtains for the boys room and enjoying the last few days with my husband off of work.

I'm looking forward to seeing my dad this weekend too. He is coming into town to help me with the show. It's been awhile since we visited and I miss him.

Yesterday was date day and it was so fun! We took the kids to the movies. {d} went with me and {M} with my husband. It was a fun afternoon seeing Monsters Vs. Aliens. Nice to spent some one on one time with the kids and take a break from working!

ANOTHER Wedding

The kids needed, yet another wedding this past week! [Really though, can you ever have too many?]

Wedding plans were all scheduled with their Nani[grandmother]. Everyone knew what to wear and whom to marry. {L} was drafted as the "ringbear".
Nani arrived for the wedding with a wonderful surprise-cake and flowers!! The kids were SO excited. Pretty pink & white flowers and a cake to match.

Sadly my camera battery died, just as the ringbear was walking down the aisle. It was a fun time and we got to eat yummy cake at the end. I think {D} is starting to come around to this whole wedding thing. He told me he married the cat last week-haha. That wedding went sans cake.

Smiling with the wedding planner-aka Nani.

Smile...

Take a moment to smile at the beauty all around you! Sometimes we need a quick reminder about just how lucky we are.
